International Freight Drone and MeatKO Sign Strategic MOU to Launch Drone-Based Frozen Meat Logistics in Nigeria

Woodbury, NY — International Freight Drone Inc. (IFD), a leader in autonomous logistics and hybrid-container technology, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AFRO MeatKO Nigeria to develop and deploy drone-based transportation of frozen meat products across Nigeria.

This agreement marks a pivotal step toward transforming cold-chain logistics in West Africa. Under the MOU, IFD and MeatKO will collaborate to establish a phased rollout of drone delivery operations, beginning with regulatory approvals, engineering design, and operational testing. The initiative will culminate in full-scale production flights using IFD’s advanced drone systems and hybrid-composite containers.

The MOU outlines a three-phase implementation plan, including the creation of a local Nigerian subsidiary, test flights across multiple routes, and the eventual deployment of Chinook-class heavy-lift drones. Both parties will jointly pursue regulatory certification, food safety compliance, and operational excellence.
